I still feel like I am 18. After high school I went to MSU and received my Bachelor's degree in Earth Science with a minor in Biology and got my secondary teaching certification. In 2002, I landed my first teaching job in beautiful Harbor Springs, where I teach 8th Grade Science. I just completed my 5th year there and I'm loving it! In 2004, I married my husband, Dan Polleys, a native of Boyne City and also a teacher. Last summer, I completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum through MSU. We just bought our first house in Petoskey! No kids yet, but we are getting close! I am loving teaching and loving life! I am so blessed!
