The last ten years have flown by for me, as I'm sure they have for most of you. In those 10 years, 7 were spent attending college. I was at NMC for 3 years in the engineering program there. I transferred to Michigan Tech into the Civil Engineering program. After spending 4 years in Houghton, I ended up with a Bachelor's and Master's in Civil Engineering. While in college I got bit by the travel bug and spent a couple summers studying abroad in some unique locales. I also spent two summers interning for the NPS in Alaska - definitely the opportunity of a lifetime,twice over. After graduation, I spent a year in Lansing, working for a consulting firm. After a year I needed a change of scenery, so I took a transfer in my company and moved out here to Northern Virginia. I can't say I love it (DC traffic is as bad as everyone says), but I am happy. My boyfriend and I are planning a summer trip back to Traverse, so hopefully I will be able to make it to the reunion. I truly hope you are all doing well and life has treated you kindly.
